  • Each individual will be treated with dignity and respect at all times
  • Each individual is entitled to receive education, training and support, appropriate to their needs
  • Individuals will have the opportunity to be able to act on their own wishes, needs and opinions and have support to develop their ability to do so.
  • Each individual has the right to be fully involved in decisions relating to the organization of the house. This could include the involvement of the person's keyworker, advocate, parent or representative, if the person feels they need support to express their wishes.
  • We encourage individual development, supporting the person to realise their sense of worth.
  • We maintain and encourage links with family and friends.
  • We respect the individual's rights, privacy, individuality and the need for personal time and space.
  • We are open to change and reflective about the support we offer the individual.

  • Each individual will be offered opportunities for interaction and participation in activities available to the community at large.
  • In addition to being registered with a GP of their choice, each person will have access to specialised community services, such as chiropody, dental care and other professionals as required.
  • Each individaul has the rights to expect that information recorded about them shall be considered privileged and confidential and accessible to them.
  • Individuals have the right to expect their privacy to be respected at all times.
  • Each individual has the right to be respected at all times.
  • Each individual has the right to a balanced, wholesome diet and to contribute to menu planning.
  • We offer a comfortable, happy home, supporting the person and offering greater independance
  • We offer each person their individual time and space whilst experiencing living in a small group.
  • We meet each persons needs and wishes, often through consultation with other professionals, ensuring individual reviews take place at appropriate times.
