- Each individual will be treated with dignity and respect at all times
- Each individual is entitled to receive education, training and support, appropriate to their needs
- Individuals will have the opportunity to be able to act on their own wishes, needs and opinions and have support to develop their ability to do so.
- Each individual has the right to be fully involved in decisions relating to the organization of the house. This could include the involvement of the person's keyworker, advocate, parent or representative, if the person feels they need support to express their wishes.

- Each individual will be offered opportunities for interaction and participation in activities available to the community at large.
- In addition to being registered with a GP of their choice, each person will have access to specialised community services, such as chiropody, dental care and other professionals as required.

- Each individual has the right to a balanced, wholesome diet and to contribute to menu planning.
